In addition, there are economic incentives for construction companies that undertake sustainable projects, such as "green" credit lines with special conditions and tax breaks.

Colombia also has certifications that recognize the sustainable quality of real estate projects, such as HQE (High Environmental Quality) and EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies). These certifications are granted by international organizations that evaluate compliance with sustainability criteria in the design, construction and management of buildings.
